PHENIX Gas Systems

PHENIX is large experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at the Brookhaven National Laboratory. It has a number of big gaseous detectors. Our gas systems provide appropriate gas mixtures to these detectors:

DC/PC (Drift Chamber/Pad Chamber)

TEC/TRD (Time Expansion Chamber/Transition Radiation Detector)

MuID (Muon IDentifier)

MuTR (Muon TRacker)

TOF (Time Of Flight)

HBD (Hadron Blind Detector)

RPC (Resistive Pad Chambers Detector)

The authors of all systems:

General Design: L.Kotchenda. These systems were performed at BNL.
Hardware Electronics, wiring: G. Tretyakov, V.Trofimov.
